As the only LGBTQ advocacy group in the area, Pride of Somerset dedicates its efforts to supporting people at all stages of their personal experiences—group meetings designed to encourage members to express themselves in a safe place are just one of the ways we strive to assist the people in our community.  

With the various public health and economic challenges that have been prevalent over the last 18 months, group meetings, like so much official business around the world, were moved to remote access only, and we missed in-person interaction. Now that things are beginning to look a bit brighter, we’ve decided to come together in celebration of the LGBTQ community, our allies and those that share in our achievements. 

That’s where you come in! 

On Sunday, August 1st, Pride of Somerset will be hosting the area’s very first (which we hope will become annual) Pride Picnic! We hope that you will be able to come out and join us!

There will be food trucks, a silent auction, entertainment, Vendors, and a FREE Vaccination clinic sponsored by Pride of Somerset County in partnership with UPMC.
