The Community Foundation’s Spring 2022 Grant Awards Distributed in Bedford County
CFA recently announced $201,949 in Spring 2022 Grant awards, which support a broad spectrum of local efforts, from community building projects to those that address health and human services needs, and more. That funding included $33,550 to support 10 projects in Bedford County.
Bedford County grantees, grant awards, and projects supported were:
- Bedford County Historical Society: $1,600 for the Bedford County 250th Anniversary Souvenir Book
- Central Pennsylvania Food Bank: $4,000 for Sustaining Bedford County Crisis Recovery
- Chaneysville Senior Activities Center: $4,000 for the Senior Center Door Project
- Downtown Bedford, Inc.: $3,000 for the Farmers Market Voucher Promotions Grant
- Egolf Park Associates: $650 for Refurbishing of the Egolf Park 1939 Monument
- Everett Area School District: $2,800 for the Music Department Elective Expansion
- Everett Fire Company No. 1: $4,000 for Everett VFC Turnout Gear Replacement
- Habitat for Humanity of Bedford County: $3,000 for Home Preservation
- Reimagine Everett: $7,000 for the Reimagine Everett Theater Project
- Saxton Community Library: $3,500 for Remodeling the Library
