The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies is pleased to announce the creation of a new subsidiary organization called Nonprofit Partners (NP). Launched on January 1 of this year, Nonprofit Partners was created to provide specialized service for funds led by grassroots volunteers who need operational and administrative support in order to help make a difference in our community.
What does this change mean? Operationally, there won’t be much of a difference. The fund representatives under Nonprofit Partners be working with the same staff and provided with the same service as they always have been since their fund was first created. We are even looking into ways to offer additional assistance to make their fundraising easier and even more efficient.
What will be a little different is branding. Gift letters for donations to NP funds will go on Nonprofit Partners letterhead. Classy, our custom online fundraising platform, will also feature the Nonprofit Partners logo. As you can see above that logo contains a reference to the Community Foundation. There is a strong connection between the two organizations, and that’s also something that won’t change.
We’ve created a landing page and flyer that gives you a little more information about NP. You can also check out its new website at nonprofit-partners.org.
We want to make sure that our donors and fund holders feel confident about this shift. If you have any questions, please reach out to any of our staff.
Thank you for your efforts in making our community a better place and for working to inspire change, one partnership at a time!
