Ethnic Dinner – Around the World in a Bowl

Warm your heart and help feed a hungry child.
It may be frigid outside, but the Bottle Works is cooking up a steamy event that will warm your heart and fill your stomach. January is National Soup Month! Celebrate by taking a tour Around the World in a Bowl at our International Soup and Bread Dinner.
A variety of fresh bread, rolls and cheese will be served as well as sweet treats for dessert. As a bonus, take home an Around the World in a Bowl “Cookbook,” which will feature the night’s cuisine.
*** This dinner is part of the Cambria County Campaign for Cultural Awareness. CFA Youth Philanthropy Interns on the “Branching Out” team provided $18,500 to Bottle Works for the one-year initiative, aimed at promoting cultural awareness and combating negative perceptions of different cultures through education and understanding. ***
The event is also a collaboration with the Cambria County Backpack Project to fight local childhood hunger!
Organizers will collect food for undeserved children. Bring at least three single-serve non-perishable food items, particularly donations of fruit cups, granola bars and pudding cups, to the dinner and receive a $5 voucher to use toward a future Ethnic Dinner.
Tickets are $18 for BW members; $20 for non-members. Children 10 and under are FREE.
