The Community Foundation is pleased to welcome Erik Blasic, Esq. to our Somerset County Community Fund Advisory Commitee. A proud native of Windber and Somerset County, Blasic is deeply committed to serving and strengthening the local community.

After graduating from Windber Area High School in 2017, Blasic pursued his Bachelor of Arts in history from Washington & Jefferson College, where he graduated as valedictorian. He continued his education at Penn State Law at The Pennsylvania State University, earning his Juris Doctor in 2024.

Blasic has returned to the region to establish his roots and practice law throughout the Laurel Highlands region. Now an associate attorney at Silverman, Tokarsky & Forman, LLC, he provides skilled legal counsel to individuals and businesses across Bedford, Cambria, Somerset, and Indiana counties. Additionally, Blasic is an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and takes a strong interest in veteran-related issues and advocating for those who have served in the armed forces.

Passionate about the well-being of Somerset County, Blasic actively seeks opportunities to contribute to its growth by supporting local economic development, historical preservation, and the arts.
