JOHNSTOWN — The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies is pleased to announce this fall’s grant recipients in Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, and Indiana counties.

CFA is committed to building community vitality throughout the Alleghenies, in partnership with our local nonprofit organizations. Their important services encourage donors to give back through funds at the Community Foundation. We are proud to have worked with nonprofit organizations of all kinds for 25 years. In Fiscal Year 2015 alone, we have awarded over $5 million to programs throughout the counties we serve.

This grant round, the Foundation received 101 applications, requesting more than $600,000 in grants. Of those, 70 were awarded grants totaling just under $200,000. Click here to see a complete list of programs that received funding.
