CFA Earns 2022 Platinum Seal of Transparency

We are proud to announce that the Community Foundation has again been recognized with a 2022 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest rank for transparency through GuideStar by Candid, a nationally established source of information about U.S. charities and nonprofit organizations.

GuideStar’s database includes more than 1.8 million IRS-recognized organizations. Of those, more than 80,000 nonprofits have earned a Seal of Transparency, but only 15 percent have achieved a platinum ranking. In fiscal year 2021, CFA made grants and charitable distributions of $15,227,750.
