Information For Donors: Scholarship Funds
Establishing a scholarship fund is one way donors can honor loved ones, inspire young people, and invest in our community’s future. As they design their legacy, donors can elect to support a field of study they are passionate about, support a particular school district or type of student, or tailor their fund in any direction that is meaningful to them.
Families can also honor their loved ones and provide scholarship support through the Community Foundation’s Memorial Scholarship Fund, with contributions directed to support pathways to higher education for local students. This special fund is endowed, so any contribution you or others make on behalf of a loved one will be there to support local causes forever. CLICK HERE to find information on including the foundation’s Memorial Scholarship Fund in an obituary.
To find out more about establishing a scholarship fund through CFA, reach out to Katrina Perkosky at 814-208-8411 or kperkosky@cfalleghenies.org.
