Have some FUN and join a community of people promoting active, healthy lifestyles at Rec the Alleghenies Expo 2017!

This outdoor expo will introduce you to opportunities to get out into our beautiful outdoors, and get moving. Organizers are bringing together recreational groups from all over the region; from paintball to yoga, horseback riding to Geocaching, knitting to dancing, if it involves moving your body, you’ll find it at Rec the Alleghenies.

Participants will have their crews ready to show you classes, equipment, techniques. Be prepared for great music, live demonstrations, and open, interactive, workshops throughout the day. This isn’t an afternoon for collecting brochures – you’ll get involved in high-energy activities, and maybe even sweat a bit, so dress accordingly!

Rec the Alleghenies received $5,000 from the Community Foundation’s 2016 Youth Philanthropy Interns. It’s presented by Alleghenies Unlimited Care Providers, the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, and You in Flood City.
