Please join the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies’ 2015 class of Youth Philanthropy Interns for a funding announcement on Wednesday, July 15, at 12 noon at the gazebo in Central Park, Downtown Johnstown, Pa.
The interns have been assessing community needs through research, site visits, and interviews and have determined opportunities for programs to be implemented in Bedford, Cambria, and/or Somerset counties. On July 15, they will be issuing two Requests for Proposals. Full details will be disclosed during their announcement.
There are two teams of Youth Philanthropy Interns. One team is led by Mikella Buncich and includes: Hayden Spangler, Tabitha Weaver, David Saylor, and Kylee Farabaugh. The other team is led by Ryan King and includes: Mikita Hill-Cashaw, Joshua Wagner, Kate McGrath, and Leah Sprock. The interns, as well as the Community Foundation staff, will be available for interviews on July 15.
