Love heritage, history, and architecture? We’ve got a great #GivingTuesday opportunity for you with the Steeples Project. Here’s an update from the folks who’ve worked hard to spare and repurpose beautiful church structures in Johnstown’s Cambria City neighborhood: “The Grand Halle on Broad Street is a vibrant, busy concert hall and special-events venue. We are preparing to reopen Columba as a ‘theatre in the rough.’ But we are struggling to find the resources to effectively staff and manage these new community assets. We need Johnstown’s help if these cultural gems are to achieve their full potential to serve the community.

“While we are developing our $3 million theatre project at Columba, we want to offer use of the rough space free-of-charge as a meaningful way to support the local theatre community. To do so, we need help with the costs of operation: the gas, electric and water/sewage bills; insurance; and property taxes.”

Donate, or make a special gift in honor of someone else, to help to save Columba and support the local theatre community.
