Pack the House for Charity

Team up with the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies and the Johnstown Tomahawks to support nonprofits throughout our region!

The Tomahawks have generously offered CFA-managed funds a unique opportunity to help publicize the work we do and raise money for our partners engaged in donor-initiated fundraising.

Here’s how it works:

  • Your group sells at least 20 tickets to the December 3rd Tomahawks game against the New Jersey Titans
  • You get to KEEP 80% of the ticket sales for your CFA-managed fund!
  • Your group or organization gets to host a table in the concourse the night of the game, where you can share information about your cause, and let everyone know how they can help.

ALL TICKETS MUST BE SOLD AND TURNED IN TO CFA BY 4:30 PM MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27th, so call us today!

The evening of events is called the “Pack the House for Charity Game presented by the Community Foundation.” This is a tremendous opportunity to combine the best our region has to offer — great people doing tremendous work, and family-friendly sports. Let’s pack the Cambria County War Memorial with all of the heart-filled organizations that make this region so special!

This year we will be using vouchers, $10 each, which will give your supporters free tickets to the game and chances to win prizes.

The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies is also participating in the fundraiser, to raise money for our Fund for the Future. This is a general endowment that we use for spring and fall grant distributions throughout our four-county region.
