The 1st annual James F. Beener Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, September 24 at Somerset Country Club. Registration begins at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The event will benefit causes that Jim was passionate about. Proceeds will go to the Somerset County Library, Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, and programs that promote Autism awareness. Sponsorship opportunities are still available to support this fundraiser, custom golf shirts are available for purchase, and donations to the James F. Beener Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation are also being accepted.
